Oil Tank Testing & Locating Services
EnviroTech technicians use metal detectors to determine the presence of an underground tank. For soil testing, our technicians use the GEO Probe Method to sample around an underground storage tank. By using this method, we are able to collect soil samples around the tank to determine if evidence of oil contamination is present. In most instances the method is used to assure the homeowners the area is clean when there is no documentation of a prior tank removal.
Underground Storage Tank Removals and Installations
The sale or purchase of a home or business today includes not just the structure and property but any existing environmental hazards. Residential and commercial underground storage tanks have historically been the source of many environmental problems, as the life expectancy is approximately 15 years. Life expectancy depends greatly on the tank’s location. Rust inside a tank can cause pinholes that results in leaking oil.
We offer free estimates and our professional team will consult with you regarding your tank removal and / or installation, and if necessary, remediation / clean up.
When a tank is determined to have leaked into the ground soil, the Department of Environmental Protection recommends all sites to be remediated to their criteria (DEP Guidelines are available upon request).
Vacuum Truck Services
In order to complete your wast removal needs in a more thorough and timely manner, EnviroTech can provide a 3,200 – gallon Pres – Vac vacuum tank. Equipped with 200 feet of hose along with varying sizes of couplings, adaptors, and reducers, our Pres – Vac is 100% portable and capable of reaching areas our competitors cannot.

EnviroTech will collect samples from your residence or place of business. All samples are then sent to a state certified lab for results.
EnviroTech will transport all contaminated materials from your property to state regulated facilities in CT, NY & MA. Upon completion, we will provide all closing documentation to state and local offices and a copy for the property owner. Our services may include the removal of groundwater if necessary.
Mold is a growing health concern affecting many property owners today. Some symptoms associated with mold exposures my include allergic reactions, asthma and other respiratory reactions. EnviroTech will collect air and surface samples to establish the presence of mold. If areas in your residence or business test positive, we will determine whether the molds are toxic or non – toxic.
